When I'm asked, "Tell me about yourself." my thoughts scatter through several loop holes wondering where I should start. I can say never did I imagine a small town New Yorker would end up in the state capitol of a Midwest State or have the ultimate patience to financially save up to go overseas.

I was once told I'd never make it to college. Yet here I am one last in a chapter I have been able to embrace. My advice to others is to go through open doors, even if it feels like you're going the wrong path. Sometimes going through the wrong door can lead you to your life's destination. Almost like joining a club at a community college to then let it change to becoming that dream career path.

Lastly, be the sun in the room, but stay humble, because no one likes sunburn.
